The Inn at Huntingfield Creek was a superb stay. Cozy private cabins with fireplaces, large property with water access and plenty to explore. We loved our time at the inn, the innkeepers were every friendly and accommodating. The location is very dog/kid friendly and we loved that.
Beautiful inn! The owners and staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. The cabins are all lovely, each with an outfitted kitchenette. The bed was insanely comfortable. Has a very nice little pool and gorgeous gardens. Plan to eat breakfast there because the food is outstanding.
My husband and I found this gem online and we stayed there this past weekend to celebrate my birthday, as well as, a little babymoon. They exceeded our expectations. From the minute we pulled up Joanne and Jim, the innkeepers were incredibly warm and friendly. Joanne gave us a map of the town and recommended where we go. She showed us around the house, and then took us to our cottage. We stayed in the Zen cottage, which was absolutely amazing for us. It was so cozy. Not to mention their friendly and extremely well behaved pups! My husband and I are both avid dog lovers and that was just an added bonus!!! Breakfast was homemade each morning and just so delicious. You feel like family when you're there. When we checked out, Joanne gave us both hugs and really made us feel so appreciated. My husband and I will definitely make this a yearly tradition. We can't say enough good things! Rock Hall is a small fishing town with a friendly atmosphere. The local coffee shop Java Rock is a must to visit while you're there as well!!
Just visit this place once, and you'll know it's perfect. The setting is unmatched - beautiful farm, sunflowers, lavender fields, bay view, fish pond, arbor, relaxing pool, luxury rooms ... it's a heavenly retreat. Plus, you get to hang out with Joanne and Jim, who are the coolest couple around. You can tell they do what they do because they love it - and they're good at it. This may be your first wedding, but it's not theirs! The dinner in particular went so smoothly, and Joanne's food is divine - plus you get to plan the menu with her, which is a lot of fun. They always got back to us promptly when we had a question, and were very available onsite the weekend of the wedding. And there were no last-minute surprises; the price was exactly as we had discussed on day 1. Do yourself a favor and book them now, as they only host a select number of weddings each year to keep the grounds looking beautiful.
Love venue for party. A handicap accessible bathroom would be an added feature.
